Core Values

Here at The Shore we recognize that we are a collection of diverse individuals. We all have slightly different values with regard to how we go about serving Christ, yet there are certain common values that unify and define who we are.

Unity within the body of Christ is essential for effective ministry to take place. Nothing destroys effective ministry faster than division. The Apostle James stated it best in his letter,

“What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires that battle within you?” James 4:1

That’s why it’s important that each of us understand and support the stated core values. We hope that you will agree that these are important to live out as we strive to accomplish the mission Christ has laid before us.

The Bible is to be our final authority for faith and practice.
